Our OHS Policy

Occupational health and safety - OHS phenomenon has started to be dealt with heavily in the European Union since the 1980s. In particular, the Occupational Health and Safety Directive 89/391/EEC issued in 1989 was accepted as a framework directive in the field of occupational health and safety, and then many individual directives were issued based on this framework directive. Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, which entered into force in 2012 in our country, has also entered our lives during the European Union harmonization period.

Ensuring Employee Safety:

It constitutes the main purpose of occupational health and safety studies. It is aimed to ensure mental and physical integrity by protecting employees against work accidents and occupational diseases.

Ensuring Production Safety:

Ensuring production safety in a workplace is especially important from an economic point of view, as it will result in increased productivity.

Ensuring Business Security:

With the measures to be taken at the workplace, operational safety will be ensured as situations that may endanger the business such as machine malfunctions and shutdowns, explosion events, fire, which may arise due to work accidents or an unsafe and unhealthy working environment.

As can be understood from its objectives, occupational health and safety requires a multi-faceted study. During the studies, sciences such as medicine, physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, economics, sociology, psychology and ergonomics are used. The field of study encompasses all business lines. Naturally, it shows some differences in every business line. Despite all the studies on occupational health and safety, it has been determined that work accidents and occupational diseases cannot be reduced to the desired level. Occupational diseases cannot be detected adequately, but occupational accidents can be detected to a large extent. As a result of occupational accidents, cuts, injuries, electric shock, poisoning, skin diseases, fractures, organ losses, deaths and mass deaths are encountered. If we summarize the occupational health and safety in one sentence; It would be appropriate to say “it is the name of the human-centered approach”.
